The British Language Centre offers Spanish courses at five
levels, starting at a beginners level and continuing upto the DELE Superior
(the highest level offered by the the University of Salamanca and fully
recognised by the Cervantes Institute and the Spanish Ministry of Education
and Science) .
There is a maximum of six students in the group or a one to one course
can be arranged if so desired. All the teaching staff are highly qualified
and experienced native speakers. One of our teaching staff will evaluate
the students level of Spanish and assign him/her to the appropriate level.
The level test is free and there is no obligation to undertake a course.

Levels
| 1 | The student learns to express basic ideas about likes, work, family, ask and give directions, and express ideass in the past, present and future. |
| 2 | The tense system is reviewed and practised at a deeper level, the student is also introduced to other functional areas of language such as giving sugestions, expressing preferences and hypothesising. |
| 3 | The student will learn to use the most important structures that use the subjunctive tense as well as leasrning to express desires, hypothetical situations and use reportng language. |
| 4 | This course is primarily dedicated to preparation for the DELE Básico exam. It is considered to be the level sufficient for everyday life. |
| 5 | This course is primarily dedicated to preparation for the DELE Superior exam. The exam is considered to be the level required to effectively communicate in situations that demand an advanced knowledge of the language and culture. |
