On being accepted on for a place on either the CELTA or DELTA course you will be sent a pre-course booklet work. These booklets should be supplemented with some focused reading. Below you will find the books that are essential for the courses. We also include other books that we highly recommend for further reading. You can buy the books by clicking on the title, which will take you to the relevant page in the Amazon.co.uk site.A quick word about on-line shopping. Many people are reluctant to enter their credit card details over the Internet. Amazon uses a secure server which means that your details are encrypted so no-one else can see them. CELTA Essential Reading

Practical English Usage - Michael Swan (Oxford)
You will need a good grammar reference such as the one above, although there are many others available in the market.

The Practice of English Language Teaching- Jeremy Harmer (Longman)
You will need a copy of this book throughout the course, please make sure you have a copy.
